It was a tale of two election results websites Tuesday night as vote totals came in from primary balloting. The new website from the Arizona Secretary of State repeatedly froze and crashed, making it difficult to access primary results, while the new Yuma County site did pretty well in its debut.
Yuma County Communications Director Kevin Tunell says there were a few minor items that will need to be cleaned up before the November General Election. But he says generally, the County has received very positive comments on the way the new website worked..........
Tunell says it's because the state Secretary of State's office updated their election website that Yuma County did too..........
The election website update is part of an overhaul of the entire County website. It is expected to be up online in November.
