After Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, many shoppers will head to the web to shop for bargains this Cyber Monday.
But scammers will be lurking online.

The Better Business Bureau wants to remind consumers how to stay smart and safe this Cyber Monday.
According to Adobe’s 2016 Digital Insights Shopping Predictions, Cyber Monday is expected to generate $6.6 billion dollars in online sales.
Yuma County’s BBB director Janet Torricellas says shoppers should use their time as they browse, and read the fine print before submitting an order.
To ensure your personal and personal information are safe, Torricellas says consumers should use anti-virus software on computers or mobile devices and keep it up-to-date.
"Make sure to pay attention to the sales that are being offered and never share personal information on their website if the website does not have a privacy policy,’ Torricellas says.
Torricellas says using a credit card also provides more protections against fraudulent transactions than a debit card.
She says when shopping online, make sure the site is legitimate. Fake sites often mimic those of more recognized retailers.
Other tips include monitoring your bank account and avoiding shopping on public wifi. For more information visit the BBB website.
