The Arizona Western College preliminary 2017-2018 budget is scheduled for a vote later this month. KAWC's Kim Johnson spoke to AWC President, Dr. Daniel Corr, about the 45 million dollar spending plan. A plan which Dr. Corr says includes a 2% hike in the College District property tax rate.
Once the preliminary budget is given final approval, it will also begin the process of upgrading technology at AWC. The College District Governing Board is expected to vote on the preliminary budget during their May 15th meeting.
