A remedy for burnout during the holidays

AZED-November and December are months when patients wait till the last quarter to squeeze in appointments because many health insurances won’t cover procedures at the start of the New Year.

The winter months are also a recipe for flu season to pick up.

In addition to the overall exhaustion of the holidays many physicians may become burned out and patients are affected by not getting the best care.

KAWC’s Stephanie Sanchez speaks with Doctor Starla Fitch, the author of  “Remedy for Burnout” who tells us how you can make your next visit to the doctor’s office a productive one.
