Senator McCain Urges Calm After Trump Election

Arizona Republican Senator John McCain is urging cooperation and healing of divisions in the wake of the election of Donald Trump as President.  In a recent speech on the U.S. Senate floor, McCain, who had been called a "Loser" and "Not a War Hero" by the President-elect during the campaign, urged the end of protests around the country since the vote.  The 2008 GOP Presidential nominee was critical of the chants of "Not my President" during the protests...............

But Senator McCain was even more critical of reported incidents of violence and intimidation against Muslims, Hispanics and Gay people reported across the country since Trump's election........................
