Arizona Corporation Commission Candidate Bob Burns

Bob Burns for Corporation Commission

Yuma--Three seats are up for grabs on the Arizona Corporation Commission this November.

Incumbent Bob Burns is seeking re-election and is one of the three Republicans vying for an open seat.

If elected, this would be Burn’s final term since commissioners are limited to two four-year terms.

KAWC’s Stephanie Sanchez speaks with Commissioner Burns who says he has unfinished business of restoring the public’s confidence in the commission.

Burns is behind the subpoenas to Arizona Public Service and its parent company, Pinnacle West Capital Corporation to determine whether the companies funded political campaigns in the 2014 election cycle.
