A group of young people between the ages of 15 and 19 are lobbying congress this week, asking them to work to conserve the Colorado River. The 18 youth recently toured the Colorado River Basin starting with a visit to Lake Powell and including a six day rafting trip further down the river with Nuestro Río, a conservation group that educates Latinos about the importance of the continued survival of the Colorado River.
